We never had an actual playroom but with four children it
often felt like the whole house was one big playpen. Some days we would
take blankets and sheets and make tents. All sorts of games could be
played in the shelter of a tent in the living room or bedroom. Even lunch
tasted better eaten in the confines of a tent in the
"wilderness". The stairs often became a mountain that had to be
climbed, the hall a deep river to cross, the chairs lined up two by two a
rocket on the way to a galaxy far far away. "Emergency
personnel" to the rescue with sirens blaring often raced from room to
room saving lives. A pet dolphin "swarm" in the hall. Monkeys
chattered from the curtain tops. Bad guys lurked behind doors. Every area
of the house became a "something else" at one time or another.
The children are grown, the house is once more a house, we never had a
playroom but with five grandchildren and a little imagination sometimes
this house becomes more.....
On this page we will add projects or printouts. I will add
items from time to time so come back often to check.
The first project is coming soon.
